Are you watching Palm Royale? It premiered on Apple TV+ on March 20, 2024. I wasn’t an Apple TV subscriber but I immediately downloaded it after seeing the preview. It did NOT disappoint. The fashion, the story line, the cast…I love it all! The first three episodes are available to watch now with the remaining 7 shows airing on Wednesday’s starting on March 27th, 2024.
Palm Royale is a show about a woman who will do just about anything to fit in at the high society club based in 1969’s Palm Beach. I find it highly entertaining. Plus there is a lot of pink in the show and as you know pink makes people happy. As soon as I finished binging the first three episodes, I knew I would immediately be making a set of cookies…Palm Beach style.
I am never good at planning out cohesive cookie sets. I usually just have an idea and decorate as I go. As a hobby baker, the only people eating my cookies are family & friends anyway. But this time, I grabbed inspiration from the opening credits and even jotted down a quote from the show’s main character, Maxine. Her favorite cocktail is the “grasshopper”. I can’t wait for the next episode!
