Shamrock pretzel pops

Shamrock pretzel pops are the perfect treat for a St. Patty’s Day party. As much as I love baking, I love a no bake treat even more! These salty & sweet treats are so easy to make.

SUPPLIES NEEDED:

STEP ONE:

First things first, you will need to line a cookie sheet with parchment or wax paper. Then lay out your mini pretzels as shown to resemble shamrocks. I melted a small amount of candy wafers and spooned it into a piping bag to attach the pretzels to each other and to the stick. You could also just spoon it on to glue them all together. Put cookie sheet into the fridge for 3-5 minutes. This should be long enough to be able to gently pull them off the parchment in one piece.

STEP TWO:

Next you will melt more of the wafers in a bowl. I put mine in the microwave for 30 seconds, stir and cook for another 15 seconds and stir once more. Everyone’s microwave cooks differently so be sure to keep an eye on them so they don’t burn. Then you can pick up your stick and gently dip it into your melted candies, and decorate as you wish. You can also simply spoon the candy onto the sticks and spread. I like to put mine into the fridge again for just a few minutes to speed up the hardening process.

STEP THREE:

Add sprinkles or decorate with icing. I added my shamrock pretzel pops to a plate of cookies & chocolate coins for a fun St. Patty’s day treat.
